Ask the records team which identity fields it needs before editing the copy. ## How to hide agreed ID fields for CSD or WORC 1. Confirm that CSD or WORC accepts a redacted reference copy and list the required visible fields. 2. Open the document. Use Blur to select each agreed unnecessary detail. 3. Check the reverse, repeated identifiers, barcodes and machine-readable lines for the same data. 4. Download, reopen and inspect the covered regions and all information the office still needs. ## Keep the copy sufficient for this requester The office may need a date of birth, address or document number to identify the correct records. Do not hide one simply because it looks sensitive, and do not remove the information on which the identity check depends. Blur replaces the selected original pixels in the exported copy. The selected original pixels are replaced in the export. The same data may still appear elsewhere unless you check every occurrence. ### Can a covered detail remain visible somewhere else? Yes.
