Open the licence, passport, payslip or bank-statement scan, up to 25 MB. Use Document for a full page rather than a card preset. 2. Choose PDF when the recipient wants a document attachment. Set Maximum size to an available step within their stated ceiling. 3. Wait for Copy size and inspect the preview. The compressor reduces JPEG quality before lowering resolution and reports when the target cannot be reached. 4. Download and reopen every page. Check identity details on a licence or passport, or the name, period and income entries on financial evidence. Available targets run from 100 KB to 5 MB, with No limit also available. There is no universal tenancy upload limit: use the agency's actual instructions. ## Keep the rental evidence useful Consumer Protection lists ID and income evidence among things to prepare for renting. Avoid sending a larger financial history than the check needs. Crop blank background, use a clearer scan or ask for a larger permitted file if small print becomes unreadable. ## One existing PDF, rather than a merged evidence pack This tool compresses one existing PDF. Share a digitally signed financial document in its original form when its signature matters. ## Files, privacy and originals Open JPG, PNG, supported HEIC or PDF up to 25 MB. Only the first ten PDF pages are used; prepare the required page range before opening a longer file. HEIC availability depends on your browser. Processing stays on your device, with no document upload or account, and camera metadata is removed from the copy. The exported PDF contains images of its pages. Selectable text, digital signatures and interactive fields are not preserved. Keep the complete original separately and inspect the saved copy before sending. ## Common questions ### Must a New Zealand tenancy attachment be under 1 MB? No national limit is established here. Use the property manager's stated limit; 1 MB is simply one available target. ### Can I make a rental bank statement smaller after redacting it? Yes. Save the redacted copy, open that saved file here and check its final size and legibility. Keep the full original separately. ### Can this combine a payslip and passport into one PDF?
