# CPF statement: choose and download the right record

Download a CPF statement through my cpf digital services or the CPF Mobile app after signing in with Singpass. Choose Transaction History for recent activity, apply the contribution filter when needed, or select a Yearly Statement of Account for older annual records; check the period before saving the PDF.

## Choose the CPF statement before downloading

| What you need | Which record to check |
|---|---|
| Recent contributions, withdrawals and transfers | Transaction History |
| Contributions for a requested period | Transaction History with the relevant contribution filter |
| One month's transactions | Transaction History with the same start and end month |
| An older annual record | Yearly Statement of Account |

1. Open the [CPF Board's official statement guidance](https://www.cpf.gov.sg/service/article/how-do-i-view-save-or-download-my-transaction-history-or-my-cpf-contribution-details-including-records-beyond-15-months), then enter my cpf digital services or CPF Mobile yourself.
2. Sign in with Singpass and find the required statement under **My statements**.
3. Set the dates and transaction type to match the request, rather than saving the default view without checking it.
4. Use the PDF download option, open the saved file and confirm its holder, period and contents.

If an organisation asks for a CPF statement, first confirm whether it needs contributions, all transactions or an annual statement. Those records answer different questions, and a tax bill is a separate document.

Keep a reference copy of your CPF statement with your other Singapore documents in Dokus on your iPhone, while preserving the original CPF download. 4.8 out of 5 stars [Free on the App Store](https://apps.apple.com/sg/app/dokus-private-id-wallet/id6781915709)

## Transaction History and contribution filters

CPF Transaction History covers the latest fifteen months, with the latest three months shown by default. The official service provides date options and filters for employment and platform contributions or self-employed contributions. Select the category the recipient actually requests.

Review the resulting statement before exporting. A screenshot of an account balance may omit the period or transactions that the recipient needs. Avoid changing the dates or hiding entries merely to make the file appear to meet a different request.

## Download a monthly CPF statement

The [monthly statement instructions](https://www.cpf.gov.sg/service/article/how-do-i-view-save-or-download-my-monthly-transaction-statement) place monthly records in Transaction History under My statements. For a single month, choose that same month as both the start and end month, then select the PDF icon at the top right.

Save the file somewhere you can find again. On a phone, check the actual downloaded file rather than relying on a preview left open in a browser. A useful filename can include the statement type and month without exposing your NRIC number.

## Find an older annual statement

For records beyond the Transaction History window, use the [Yearly Statement of Account](https://www.cpf.gov.sg/service/article/how-do-i-view-my-cpf-yearly-statement-of-account). CPF provides these records for up to the past ten years through my cpf digital services with Singpass login.

Select the required year and preserve the download. CPF states that statements beyond the past ten years are not provided, so save records you may need while they remain available. An annual statement does not automatically satisfy a request for a particular recent contribution period.

## Keep the issuer file and the submission copy distinct

Keep the complete original PDF. If a recipient specifically accepts a modified reference copy, duplicate the file before using a [PDF compressor](https://dokus.app/en-sg/compress-nric-passport/) or [redaction tool](https://dokus.app/en-sg/redact-nric-passport-copy/). These browser tools produce image-based copies and do not retain selectable PDF text or digital signatures. Check legibility and acceptance after processing.

For an income-tax bill, follow the separate [IRAS Notice of Assessment guide](https://dokus.app/en-sg/singapore-iras-notice-of-assessment-download/). If an application offers [Myinfo sharing](https://dokus.app/en-sg/singapore-myinfo-sharing-document-copies/), review what it requests before uploading extra files. A CPF statement is also separate from an identity document or [NRIC replacement application](https://dokus.app/en-sg/singapore-lost-nric-replacement/).

- The statement type matches the request.
- The selected period is correct.
- The relevant contributions or transactions are visible.
- The original PDF is saved and opens correctly.
- Any edited copy has a different filename.

[Download Dokus to organise reference copies on your iPhone](/). CPF Board provides the statement; Dokus keeps a personal copy for retrieval.

## CPF statement questions

### Is CPF contribution history the same as all transactions?

Contribution history is a filtered view of contribution records. Transaction History can also include withdrawals, transfers and other transactions, so check which view the receiving organisation asks for.

### How do I download a CPF statement for one month?

In Transaction History under My statements, set the same month as the start and end month, then use the PDF icon to save the statement.

### Can I retrieve CPF statements older than fifteen months?

CPF directs members to the Yearly Statement of Account for older records, covering up to the past ten years. It does not provide statements beyond that ten-year period.
