Scan documents, turn photos into PDFs and share copies with a watermark. Your private wallet reminds you before anything expires.
Your passport, ID card and everything else you carry, together in one place. Scan your documents with the built-in scanner, front and back kept as one document, or bring in the photos and PDFs you already have. From health cards to visas, store any document and always have it at hand. When someone asks for a document, you know exactly where it is.
Give a document its validity date and Dokus keeps watch. The Expiring page shows the year ahead at a glance and every date month by month, a reminder arrives with the head start you choose, and any date can go straight to your calendar. Renewing becomes something you plan instead of something you discover.

My documents used to be all scattered through my gallery, I managed to organize them all. I personally like the watermark feature… I used it a lot while traveling, it makes sharing IDs much safer… it stamps a copy with the name of the company you are sharing with (say, an AirBnb or a car rental). It’s still a bit rough around the edges but it’s a new app and the dev seems to be working on it. Price is alright given it’s a one time payment.. one less subscription!

Your documents stay on your device and we never see them. Enable iCloud sync to securely reach them across your Apple devices. Dokus has no ads or trackers, and anything it reads, it reads on your device.
The free version is the whole wallet. Dokus Plus is for people who want more: by the month, by the year, or once and for good.
Pay once and keep it forever, or subscribe and cancel anytime.

Yes. Dokus is free to download and use, with a limited number of documents, and you can try sharing and its tools for free. Your documents stay encrypted on your device, behind Face ID, with the built-in scanner and iCloud sync across your iPhone, iPad and Mac. Dokus Plus is optional, by subscription or a single purchase, and adds unlimited documents and sharing and reminders before a document expires.
Scan a paper document with the built-in scanner, pick a photo from your library, or import a PDF or image from Files. You can also send one to Dokus from another app with the Share button. Dokus keeps its own copy, and the original stays where it was.
They do different jobs, and most people use both. Apple Wallet holds the passes and cards issued to it: boarding passes, payment cards, and an official digital ID where that is offered. Dokus holds your own copy of any document you scan or import, from a passport to a health card, whoever issued it. A copy in Dokus is the one you can find in seconds, share with a watermark, and keep an eye on before it expires.
On your device, encrypted, and kept out of its iCloud backup: with sync off, they exist only there. If you turn on iCloud sync, they are also stored in your personal iCloud, under your own Apple account. Dokus itself never receives, stores, or processes your documents.
With iCloud sync on, your wallet waits in your own iCloud: open Dokus on the new iPhone, iPad or Mac, signed in to the same Apple Account, turn on sync, and your documents come back. With sync off, they live only on that device and are kept out of its backup, so they go with it. If you want them to outlive the phone, turn on sync.
Apple's own, at every layer: Dokus adds no homemade cryptography. On iPhone and iPad, each document is stored under iOS's strictest Data Protection class, encrypted with its own 256-bit key that your device passcode protects, so shortly after the device locks no one can read it, Dokus included. On a Mac, macOS encrypts the disk, and FileVault ties that encryption to your login password. With iCloud sync on, documents travel over an encrypted connection and are stored encrypted in your iCloud, under keys Apple keeps; turn on Apple's Advanced Data Protection and they become end-to-end encrypted, with the keys only on your devices. The privacy policy explains every layer.
Optional, and sold three ways: a monthly or yearly subscription you can cancel anytime, or a lifetime purchase you pay for once and keep. It adds unlimited documents and sharing, reminders before a document expires, and copies without the Dokus banner. If a subscription ends, you are back on the free version. iCloud sync is free for everyone, and you can try sharing and its tools for free.
