Open the passport attachment or an agreed police-record reference scan and choose Maximum size within the employer’s stated ceiling. Keep required original certificates separate and inspect every saved detail.
Fit a temporary-permit scan to the employer’s request
WORC’s T1 checklist asks for a passport bio-data copy and an original signed and sealed police certificate. Reduce the passport attachment or a separate agreed reference scan, retaining required originals.
Reduce the requested attachment
- Open the complete passport bio-data page or the agreed police-record reference scan.
- Choose the employer’s requested format. Start at 1 MB and select an available Maximum size within the actual attachment ceiling.
- Inspect names, portrait, document number, dates, stamps and all small print needed for the review.
- Download and check actual file size and completeness. Use the required original certificate for filing rather than its compressed reference image.
The default does not establish a WORC ceiling
The 1 MB value is an editing starting point. No numeric temporary-permit attachment limit is established by the checked checklist. Use the current employer or submission-channel instructions.
Improve a poor capture before reducing it further. Keep real document edges, seals and endorsements visible. If the tool cannot meet a chosen target, it shows its smallest result; an unreadable smaller file does not preserve usable evidence.
Keep electronically signed certificates and completed forms as their original files. Compression here renders PDF pages into images and does not preserve their digital signatures or interactive fields.
Check the saved copy
Choose JPG, PNG, supported HEIC or PDF up to 25 MB. Only the first ten pages of an input PDF are processed. Download JPG or an image-based PDF; selectable text, fillable fields and digital signatures are not preserved. Keep any original signed or fillable file.
The document is processed in your browser without an account or document upload. The downloaded copy removes camera metadata and leaves the source unchanged.
Use Photo to PDF for the layout, Compress for an attachment ceiling, Watermark for an agreed purpose label or Hide details for agreed unnecessary fields. Save between tools and inspect the final downloaded file.
Common questions
Is 1 MB the WORC temporary-permit limit?
No such limit is established by the checked checklist. Use the current submission instructions; 1 MB is this tool’s starting target.
Can I compress the original police certificate for filing?
Keep the original signed and sealed certificate required by the checklist. An image-based compressed scan is only appropriate for an agreed reference review.
What if Maximum size cannot be reached?
The tool shows its smallest result. Improve the source capture or ask about the recipient’s accepted transfer method. Inspect the actual downloaded file before sending.
