A smaller identity attachment for the Privacy Officer
BHB’s personal-information form requires identity evidence such as a passport or driver’s licence. Ask the Privacy Officer for the attachment format and ceiling before reducing your scan.
Reduce the requested attachment
- Open the complete identity scan for your request. Check all required sides are present.
- Choose JPG or PDF as agreed. Start at 1 MB and adjust Maximum size to an available step within the recipient’s ceiling.
- Inspect the name, portrait, dates and other fields the officer needs. Keep small print readable.
- Download and check the saved file’s size and page count before attaching it to the request.
Reduce blank space before reducing detail
Crop the table around the document, correct rotation and start with a sharply focused scan. Do not crop away the document border, an endorsement or another required detail to reach a smaller size.
If the target cannot be reached, the tool shows its smallest result. Retake the scan or ask about the recipient’s accepted transfer method. The default is not evidence that a hospital email system accepts a particular size.
Keep any digitally signed authority letter or completed interactive form as its original file. Compression here produces an image-based copy of a scan.
Check the saved copy
Choose JPG, PNG, supported HEIC or PDF up to 25 MB. Only the first ten pages of an input PDF are processed. Download JPG or an image-based PDF; selectable text, fillable fields and digital signatures are not preserved. Keep any original signed or fillable file.
The document is processed in your browser without an account or document upload. The downloaded copy removes camera metadata and leaves the source unchanged.
Use Photo to PDF for the layout, Compress for an attachment ceiling, Watermark for an agreed purpose label or Hide details for agreed unnecessary fields. Save between tools and inspect the final downloaded file.

Can I compress a digitally signed authority form?

What if Maximum size cannot be reached?
